PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine generator capable of restraining the generation of heating irregularity and facilitating the detachment of a space heater. SOLUTION: The engine generator 1 includes an engine E and a generator G disposed in an appliance chamber 3. An electricity storage device 60 with no blackout function comprising an electricity storage control device 16 for power supply to an EDLC 13 and the control of the charging and discharging of the EDLC 13 is disposed in an electricity storage chamber 2. The appliance chamber 3 and the electricity storage chamber 2 are provided as individual housings of equivalent installation areas. The electricity storage chamber 2 is mounted to the upper surface of the appliance chamber 3 with the appliance chamber 3 and the electricity storage chamber 2 covered with a package 10. The EDLC 13 is disposed on the downward entire surface of the electricity storage chamber 2. The electricity storage control device 16 is disposed above the electricity storage chamber 2. A plurality of space heaters 40 are provided in a gap with respect to the appliance chamber 3 below the EDLC 13 at equal intervals in the longitudinal direction of the package 10 over the shorter direction of the package 10.
