摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the load capacity by miniaturizing a tapered roller bearing so that any stress concentration is not generated in a flange of an inner ring for guiding a tapered roller. SOLUTION: A flange 6 for guiding a tapered roller 4 is provided only on the large diameter side of a raceway surface 2a of an inner ring 2, and a projecting part 7 which is projected on the inside diameter side and locked to the flange of the inner ring 2 in the axial direction is provided on the large diameter side of a holder 5. An outside diameter surface and an outer end face thereof are connected to the flange 6 of the inner ring 2 by a smooth recessed curved surface, and a cutout groove 6a continuous in the circumferential direction is formed. An inner side of a fore end of the projecting part 7 of the holder 5 is locked to the cutout groove 6a. A tapered roller bearing 1 is miniaturized and the load capacity is increased so that any stress concentration is not generated in the flange 6 of the inner ring 2 for guiding the tapered roller 4.
