A gyratory crusher frame part and a gyratory crusher having a topshell (200) and spider assembly (201) configured to minimise stress concentrations. An annular flange (202) is formed at the junction between a lower region (205) of each spider arm and an upper region of the topshell. Optimisation of loading force transfer and a reduction in stress concentration is achieved by positioning the spider arms radially inward relative to an outer circumferential perimeter of the flange.
