A method for automatically conditioning and presenting radiological image data, available in digital form, which contain tissue structures in the body of a patient, wherein the image data are distributed over a data space and can be presented in an original presentation, wherein the image data are mirrored on an axis of symmetry which runs in the data space, wherein subsequently, the analysis of coverage discrepancies is used to ascertain asymmetries present in the tissue structures, wherein symmetries and asymmetries which are present are recorded in a symmetry map. |
