The method involves receiving an automatic exchange of request from initiation of a communication session issued from a terminal when the request is intended for another terminal. The initial request is redirected toward an external platform and bounded for a private identifier associated with a user. The redirected request from the external platform is processed by a profile of a subscriber of the user associated with the private identifier for establishing the communication session between the users. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising a set of instructions for performing a method for initiating a communication session between two users (2) a telephone routing device (3) a service platform (4) a system for initiating a communication session between two users.
