<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite material of an aluminum-based alloy, which improves a fatigue strength of an article made of an aluminum-based alloy. <P>SOLUTION: This composite material has a solid-solution range formed of a composite particle dispersion layer in which reinforced particles made of tungsten or an alloy thereof and/or reinforced particles made of tantalum or an alloy thereof and a parent phase of the aluminum-based alloy diffuse to each other, in the vicinity of the surface of an article made of the aluminum-based alloy to be treated, by dispersing the reinforcing particles in the vicinity of the article to be treated by imparting mechanical energy to the reinforcing particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
