PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system allowing safe and efficient driving by presenting the information about strong wind properly to a driver for a route which the driver's own vehicle is travelling. SOLUTION: A navigation system mounted on a vehicle detects a current position of the vehicle and calculates a route which the vehicle travels on a map data as a scheduled travel route. A weather information about wind is obtained from outside the vehicle, and based on the weather information about wind, a strong wind area representing a region likely to have strong wind is set on map data. It is determined weather the scheduled travel route of the vehicle enters the strong wind area. If it is determined to enter the area, a scheduled entrance point through which the vehicle enters the strong wind area on the scheduled travel route is determined. When the vehicle approaches the scheduled entrance point, information on the strong wind is made, so that the driver is notified in advance of entering the region likely to have the strong wind.
