A framing system to receive an item to be displayed, the system includes a transparent front display plate 101 to receive a support 103, the support to mount to the display plate to form a sleeve in spaced relation to the display plate. The support can be adhesively mounted to the display plate 107, and can comprise of multiple adhesive portions, and may be attached at multiple locations which may extend to the periphery, these adhesive portions can be used to define the sleeve 205. The adhesive panels 107 can be folded back and may be attached against the inside face of the display plate 203 to form a sleeve. There can also be a further adhesive tab to seal the item. The rear panel 201 can include multiple support elements to support the display item in a desired position. The item can also have a masking or opaque portion to mask the support. There can be a method of displaying the in which the display item is received in the sleeve between the support and the display panel. There can also be a kit for said display item.
