PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headphone unit effectively preventing adhesives from adhering to vibration parts of diaphragms when the diaphragms are stuck to unit frames by the adhesives to prevent deformation of the diaphragms, and also to provide a headphone with the headphone unit mounted thereon. SOLUTION: The headphone unit is provided with: a voice coil 56 disposed in a magnetic gap formed from a magnetic circuit component; the diaphragm 54 to which the voice coil 56 is fixed; and the unit frame 52 to which the periphery of the diaphragm 54 is fixed. The diaphragm 54 is fixed to the fixing part of the unit frame 52, and the fixing part is formed of a horizontal section and an inclination section 52j leading to the radial outside from the horizontal section.
