PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetron capable of restraining inner-tube discharge due to surplus wax materials produced on the way of brazing of a center lead, side lead, stem, lead-relay plate, and leads outside a stem tube. SOLUTION: The magnetron includes lead-relay plates 28 each equipped with a relay-plate circular groove 28c along a peripheral direction at each plane part of a display side and a rear-face side. Since, with this, the relay-plate circular groove 28c of the lead-relay plate 28 absorbs surplus wax materials produced on the way of brazing of a center lead, side lead, stem, the lead-relay plates 28, and iron leads outside the stem tube, the surplus wax materials stop flowing up to the tip of the lead-relay plate 28, so that there is no fear of a surface of the tip getting roughened by the wax materials. Thus, an interval between the tip and a side tube of the lead-relay plate 28 shall never be shortened, so that the inner-tube discharge is restrained. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
