<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve uneven toner concentration without increase in size or cost of an apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes an optical writing unit which forms a latent image according to image information on an image carrier; a carrying screw which cyclically carrying a binary developer on a carrying path; a toner supply device capable of supplying toner to the binary developer in a predetermined supply point on the carrying path; a developing unit which develops the latent image formed on the image carrier with the binary developer; an image information acquisition unit 2103 which acquires image information and attribute information of the image information; and a supply control unit 2102 which calculates a toner supply quantity using a filter according to the attribute information of a plurality of filters capable of calculating a toner supply quantity such that it eliminates the time change of toner concentration of the developer by developing the latent image according to the image information, and controls the toner supply means so as to supply the calculated toner supply quantity of toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
