<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for producing a float sheet glass, including: a glass melting tank; a float bath which produces a glass ribbon by allowing a molten glass that is continuously supplied from the glass melting tank to flow on a surface of a molten metal layer; an annealing furnace which anneals the glass ribbon produced in the float bath; a cutting stage which cuts the glass ribbon annealed in the annealing furnace into predetermined dimensions, thereby producing a float sheet glass; and a transport path which transports the glass ribbon produced in the float bath toward the cutting stage through the annealing furnace, in which the apparatus further includes a first building which surrounds at least the float bath and the annealing furnace, the cutting stage is installed outside the first building, and a forward space area is formed between a side wall in which a glass ribbon carrying-out opening of the first building is provided and a side wall in which a glass ribbon carrying-out opening of the annealing furnace is provided.</p> |
