<p>The invention relates to a sensor retainer device (30) for ABS sensor means and comprises a ring element (34) configured to be fitted to a shaft journal (20) of a motor vehicle. The device comprises means for axially and circumferentially fixing said sensor means by means of a clamping arrangement (40). The ring element has a first end and a second end which are configured to jointly form an axial sealing configuration with a locking-by- shape function.
