561,320. Battery lamps. HYMAN, H. Jan. 12, 1942, No. 8499/43. Convention date, Feb. 8, 1941. Divided out.of 561,292. [Classes 39 (ii) and 75 (iii)] An electric flashlamp has an extensible support or ring 34 pivoted to a spring member 42 secured to a wall 30 of the lamp casing so that it is biassed to the collapsed position (Fig. 2). The ring has portions 38 which bear upon the casing wall and the arrangement is such that when fully extended (Fig. 4) a slight movement in one direction will cause the spring to collapse the ring and in the other to bring it to a partly extended condition in which it bears upon a bead 32 on the casing. |
