SEAL COMPOSITION FOR EXHAUST PIPE OF VACUUM GLAZING

PURPOSE: A sealing composition for a discharge pipe of vacuum glass is provided to seal the discharge pipe of the vacuum glass without generating cracks on plate glass or the leakage of the vacuum among the plate glass using supporter formation frit and joint formation frit. CONSTITUTION: A sealing composition for a discharge pipe of vacuum glass includes frit for forming a supporter(11) and frit for forming a joint(12). The supporter formation frit contains 50-80 wt% of Bi2O3, 1-15 wt% of SiO2, 1-15 wt% of B2O3, 1-10 wt% of Al2O3, 1-15 wt% of ZnO, and 0.1-5 wt% of CeO2. The joint formation frit contains the following: 100 parts by weight of parent formed of 70-90 wt% of PbO, 1-25 wt% of B2O3, and 1-10 wt% of SiO2; and 5-20 parts by weight of filler. The supporter formation frit has the coefficient of thermal expansion of 70×10^-7/K-100×10^-7/K, and the transition point of 390-470°C. The filler is selected from a group consisting of alumina, cordierite, spodumene, willemite, mulite, and their mixture. The joint formation frit has the coefficient of thermal expansion of 70×10^-7/K-95×10^-7/K, and the transition point of 310-360°C.
