An LCD display for vehicles is provided to print both surfaces of a diffuser differently which smoothes strong light and shadow and diffuses light, thereby preventing a white looking phenomenon of an on segment illumination color of an LCD when brightness of a direct light is brighter than an LED. A display(10) comprises a front cover plate(1a) whose front is opened and a rear cover plate(1b). One or more light emitting diodes(3) are mounted on a front surface of a printed circuit board(2). The first and second diffusers(5,6) are separated at a predetermine distance toward the front of the LED so that the first and second diffusers are successively mounted on a fixture(4) fixed to the printed circuit board. An LCD(7) is mounted on the fixture toward the front of the first diffuser. A transparent plate(8) like acryl is combined with an opened front of the front cover. The first and second diffusers prevent shadow phenomena in the LCD. |
