PURPOSE: An electrostatic latent image developer suppresses the change charged amount and prevents the destruction of toner particles. CONSTITUTION: An electrostatic latent image developer contains a toner for developing an electrostatic latent image; and a carrier which has a core particle and a resin-coated layer that the surface of the core particle is coated and has the exposed part of a core particle to the surface of the carrier is 7% or less. The toner particle is obtained by coagulating particles in a raw dispersion solution in which a polyester resin particle, a styrene resin particle, and a coloring agent particle are dispersed in an aqueous medium. The weight average molecular weight (Mw) of the polyester resin is 12,000-200,000.
