<p>PURPOSE: A start up delay under an error condition is provided to compare threshold larger than reset threshold and power voltage, thereby easily detecting the error that causes a power cycling which is not detected. CONSTITUTION: In a front end stage (105), an input voltage (120) rectified from an alternating current (AC) input voltage is generated. A voltage regulation stage (110) is coupled to the output of the front end stage. In the voltage regulation stage, the voltage (122) which is regulated by receiving the rectified input voltage is generated. A current regulation stage (115) is coupled to the output of the voltage regulation stage. An active startup (ASU) stage (125) is coupled to the front end stage. An LED lamp controller (150) controls the operation of the voltage regulation stage, the current regulation stage, and the ASU stage.
