PURPOSE: An electronic parking brake is provided to enable users to smoothly brake using a motor to generate driving power and components which deliver the driving power and convert rotational movement into linear movement. CONSTITUTION: An electronic parking brake comprises a motor (110), a reducer (120), a gear assembly (130), and a spindle unit. The motor generates driving power to drive a rotary lever (7). The reducer is connected to the rotary shaft of the motor to amplify the driving power. The gear assembly receives the driving power to rotate. The spindle unit is connected to the gear assembly and operates the rotary lever by converting the rotatory power of the gear assembly into linear movement. |
