PURPOSE: An active headrest device for a vehicle is provided to prevent passenger injuries by fixing the position of a headrest and to operate in the rear-ender of a vehicle without a separate sensor or cable. CONSTITUTION: An active headrest device for a vehicle comprises a seatback frame, a headrest operating module(100), and a headrest stay connecting member(6). The seatback frame comprises an upper end back frame(1) and a side back frame for forming the seatback of a seat. The headrest operating module is joined to the side back frame through a first bracket(4) and to the headrest stay connecting member through a first connection member(3). The headrest operating module upwardly moves and forwardly inclines a headrest through an inertial force generated in the rear-ender of a vehicle. The headrest stay connecting member connects the headrest and headrest operating module. |
