PURPOSE: An apparatus for deleting a program and a method thereof are provided to perform whole deletion and partial deletion of game clients by storing identification information of the game clients in a game client registry and providing the game client list when an application capable of deleting the game client is executed. CONSTITUTION: An execution module (13) is an application which is able to delete a game client stored in a storage space of a user terminal, and executes a game deletion application. A first generation module (151) generates a program list, in which programs can be deleted, by loading an operation system registry storing the identification information of a program registered in the user terminal when the game deletion application is executed. A second generation module (152) includes the program list, in which programs can be deleted, and stores the identification information of the game client. A deletion module (153) deletes game clients receiving deletion input together from the game client list, in which game clients can be deleted.
