PURPOSE: A side air-bag is provided to improve spread performance by connecting a volume control tether to a main chamber and controlling a volume. CONSTITUTION: A side air-bag includes a main chamber (100), an auxiliary chamber (300), and a volume control tether (500). The main chamber protects a passenger (P) from side impact by being arranged on a seat side part and being spread towards a door in collision. The auxiliary chamber is connected to the rear end of the main chamber in order to be mutually connected. The auxiliary chamber is arranged on the side of the passenger of the rear end of the main chamber and pushes out the passengers to the inner side of a vehicle when spread. The volume control tether is arranged on the inside of the rear end of the main chamber. Both ends of the volume control tether are fixed to an inner wall individually facing the main chamber. The volume control tether limits a separation width of the rear end of the main chamber. A front end (520) of the volume control tether is wider than a rear end (540) and includes a cross section of a trapezoidal shape. |
