PURPOSE: A gear housing for a planetary gear and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to manufacture a fully-plastic planetary gear, thereby reducing complexity of assembly. CONSTITUTION: A gear housing (1) for a planetary gear includes a housing body (2) having a cylindrical shape. The housing body includes internal saw teeth (3). Both surfaces of the housing body are connected to mounting flanges (4,5). The housing body and the mounting flanges are overlapped to a shaft direction from end faces of the housing body and the mounting flanges in order to form overlapped areas (A,B). In the overlapped areas, the housing body and the mounting flanges have press connection (6). The housing body and the mounting flanges are welded together through laser transmission welding by a laser beam. |
