PURPOSE: An electronic switch for DC power distribution is provided to prevent a rush current, an inverse voltage or an off arc without using a high-priced high-voltage relay. CONSTITUTION: A mechanical switch is connected between a first input side terminal (11), connected to a DC power source, and a first output side terminal (21), connected to a load. An assistant switch is connected in parallel to the mechanical switch and prevents the rush current and the arc by including a diode, a semiconductor switch element and a resistor. A power source, connected between a diode cathode terminal and a second input terminal (12) within the assistant switch, supplies power to a controller. The controller controls the operation of the DC switch by using the power supplied from the power source.
