PURPOSE: A method for generating job data and inspecting a printed circuit board (PCB) with a PCB inspecting apparatus is provided to match Gerber data including the information value of a pad with computer-aided design (CAD) data including the coordinate value of a part, thereby improving accuracy in inspecting the PCB. CONSTITUTION: A method for generating job data and inspecting a printed circuit board (PCB) with a PCB inspecting apparatus includes: a step (S110) of inputting Gerber data and computer-aided design (CAD) data through an input part; a step (S120) of analogizing the shapes of to-be-inspected parts with respectively matching the inputted Gerber data with the inputted CAD data; a step (S130) of determining an inspection region based on the shapes of the respective parts; and a step (S140) of inspecting the PCB based on the determined inspection region.
