CONSTITUTION: A video signal processing method is composed of the following steps: receiving a video signal which includes at least a current prediction block, a contiguous block, and the prediction mode information corresponding to the current prediction block; referring to at least a first contiguous block and a second contiguous block to determine a first intra-prediction mode corresponding to the first contiguous block and a second intra-prediction mode corresponding to the second contiguous block; comparing the first intra-prediction mode with the second intra-prediction mode; and parsing the prediction mode information to determine which one is to be processed between the first intra-prediction mode and the second intra-prediction mode in order to predict the current prediction block.
