NEW CARBAMATE COMPOUND AND CURABLE POLYORGANOSILOXANE COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A curable polyorganosiloxane composition is provided to have superior adhesion and durability (wet and heat resistance) on heat resistant plastic substrates such as polyphthalamide (PPA) as well as metal substrates. CONSTITUTION: A carbamate-based compound is denoted by chemical formula 1. A curable polyorganosiloxane composition contains polyorganosiloxane with alkenyl groups, polyorganohydrogen siloxane, a platinum-based catalyst, and the carbamate-based compound. The composition contains 0.05-5 parts by weight of the carbamate-based compound based on 100 parts by weight of polyorganosiloxane. Polyorganosiloxane has 0.1-4 mol of hydrogen atoms with respect to 1 mol of alkenyl groups of polyorganosiloxane.
