PURPOSE: A method for providing a personal clothing information management service and a server thereof are provided to provide convenience for managing clothing of a user by enabling clothing information which is possessed by the user to be conveniently managed online. CONSTITUTION: A server receives identifying information of clothing which a user possesses offline from a user terminal (S10). The server receives detailed information of each of clothing from an external clothing information storage server by using the identifying information (S20). The server stores the identifying information which is received from the user terminal and the detailed information of clothing which is received in response to the identifying information within a possessed clothing database in which a user stores information of possessed clothing (S30). At least one of the reading and editing functions of the possessed clothing information which is stored in the possessed clothing database is provided by loading the possessed clothing database of the user (S40).
