PURPOSE: A non-aqueous electrolyte battery is provided to offer high float charge performance at high temperature, high rate discharge at low temperature, high compatibility with lead accumulator, and to easily detect the capacity of the battery. CONSTITUTION: A non-aqueous electrolyte battery comprises: a positive electrode(3) represented by the chemical formula, LiFe_(1-x)Mn_xSO4_F wherein x is 0 to 2 included, and at least one crystalline compound selected from tavoraite and triplite; a negative electrode(4) containing titanium oxides; and non-aqueous electrolyte. A battery pack includes a battery module having serially connected 6n or 5n non-aqueous electrolyte batteries, wherein n is greater than or equal to 1. |
