PURPOSE: A receptacle connector which has an improved structure of a contact array is provided to efficiently use a space of a connector by including 'different kinds of contact arrays which support different interfaces' in one receptacle connector. CONSTITUTION: A first contact array (121) provides a first interface port contact portion by being assembled with a receptacle insulator (110). A second contact array (122) provides a second interface port contact portion by being assembled with the receptacle insulation so that the contact array is insulated about the first contact array. A receptacle shell surrounds at least one part of the receptacle insulator. 'Contacts which form the first contact array' and 'contacts which form the second contact array' are arranged in a mutually alternate way. |
