The shelter has mobile sections (2-4) provided with angle brackets (36) and displaced with respect to each other between a deployed position and a retracted position. Each section presents two longitudinal lower edges (10) that are guided by rollers (28) mounted pivotally on one section. The rollers are interposed between the lower edges and are arranged to roll on a running surface that is disposed relative to a lower edge of one section. A clearance is provided between the rollers and the running surface.
