PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition which has excellent torque-transmitting forcer and speed change characteristics, is excellent in the wear-preventing property of wet type friction materials, can keep an initial torque-transmitting force and speed change characteristics for a long period, and is suitable as an automatic transmission oil and/or a continuously variable transmission oil.SOLUTION: A lubricant composition is characterized in that (A) a fatty acid amide compound represented by formula (1), (B) a thiadiazole and (C) a phosphorous additive are contained in the base oil of the lubricant, wherein a sulfur content in the composition is ≥0.2 mass% in terms of sulfur atoms; an phosphorus content in the composition is ≤0.2 mass% in terms of phosphorus atoms; the ratio of (converted sulfur atom mass%)/(converted phosphorus atom mass%) is 0.2 mass%; the ratio of (sulfur atom converted mass%)/(phosphorus atom-converted mass%) is 3.0-5.0. |
