PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To activate a management object server even when a fault occurs in a network of a management server and a BMC.SOLUTION: An information processing system includes: an information processor having an arithmetic processing unit and a controller connected with the arithmetic processing unit; and a management device for managing a virtual address. When communication abnormality with the controller occurs, the management device instructs activation to the controller through the arithmetic processing unit. When the activation is instructed from the arithmetic processing unit, the controller transfers the virtual address stored in a storage part to the arithmetic processing unit. When the virtual address is received from the controller, the arithmetic processing unit sets the virtual address to a port provided in the own unit. |
