PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel controller of an automobile, and a novel method for operating the automobile.SOLUTION: A controller is constituted of controllers (6, 7) of an automobile for controlling and/or adjusting at least operation of an internal combustion engine (2). The controllers (6, 7) require operation in a defined operation state of the internal combustion engine (2) before execution of at least one defined function and/or during execution of at least one defined function. The controllers (6 and 7) determine a defined characteristic variable in response to a length of time when each defined function is not executed, and/or in response to a length of time when the defined operation state of the internal combustion engine does not arise, and based thereon, the controllers determine a different and/or variable means for exerting an effect on the operation state of the internal combustion engine (2) by a temporally variable method. |
