PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a technique of easily adjusting the sensitivity of an electrochemical gas sensor.SOLUTION: In a sensitivity adjustment of gas, and a sensitivity adjustment method and sensitivity adjustment means of an electrochemical gas sensor in which a detection electrode is provided on a side of an atmosphere to be detected of a separator holding an electrolyte or a solid electrolyte membrane and in which a counter electrode is provided on a side of a reference atmosphere of either of them, a DC current is applied between the detection electrode and the counter electrode.
