PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to make a phone call not relying on an IC card such as a USIM card.SOLUTION: In one aspect, a communication device (for example, a smart phone 1) includes: a communication unit for performing communication by a first communication scheme or a second communication scheme, an insertion part into which an IC card associated with the first communication scheme is inserted; and a control unit for permitting communication by the second communication scheme if the IC card is not inserted into the insertion part. For example, the smart phone 1 determines whether an IC card 18a such as a USIM (UIM, SIM) card is inserted or not, and permits to make a call by a PHS scheme if the IC card 18a such as the USIM (UIM, SIM) card is not inserted. |
