PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a surface protection function and an antireflection function are not sufficiently exhibited because of a significant interlayer deviation when an optical film is prepared using a cyclic olefin polymer excellent in optical property as a base material and thus to provide an optical film having a surface protection function and an antireflection function while using a cyclic olefin polymer as a base material and to provide a transmission-type liquid crystal display using the optical film.SOLUTION: There is provided a multilayer-structured optical film having at least a hard coat layer on a transparent base material composed of a thermoplastic resin, wherein the thermoplastic resin includes at least a cyclic olefin polymer and an intermediate layer in which the constituting material of the transparent base material and the hard coat layer are mixedly present at the interlayer between the transparent base material and the hard coat layer is present. |
