PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional portable electronic device in which a movable range of a finger is limited, there is a case where it is difficult to operate the portable electronic device by one hand and if not operated by one hand, it is necessary to perform a cumbersome operation such as changing of the hand holding the portable electronic device and the like, resulting in reduction in convenience, and to provide a portable electronic device that can facilitate an operation of a user without changing the hand holding the portable electronic device.SOLUTION: The portable electronic device comprises: a display part that displays an operation range in which information on operation of a user is included; an operation part that detects a contact of an object or a proximity thereof against the operation range as the operation by the user; a distance measurement part that measures a distance between the user and the display part; and a control part that contracts the operation range in accordance with a distance measured by the distance measurement part and moves the operation range in a predetermined direction to display the operation range. |
