摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffractive-optical element, when stress remains in closely-attached two-layer DOEs, capable of reducing location dependency (nonuniformity) of diffraction efficiencies generated at a center and a periphery of the diffraction optical elements, a method for manufacturing the same, and an optical system using the diffractive-optical element.SOLUTION: The diffractive-optical element comprises a diffraction grating section in which a first diffraction grating and a second diffraction grating formed of mutually different materials are superposed, with each grating surface coming into contact with each other. The first diffraction grating and the second diffraction grating include a first lens-side first base layer and a second lens-side second base layer respectively under each grating surface. The first diffraction grating is a diffractive-optical element formed of a material having a high refractive index and a low dispersion with respect to the second diffraction grating, and has an intermediate layer between the first lens and the first diffraction grating.
