PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition that is suitable for forming a coating film having rust prevention and excellent weatherability and can be applied even to a metal surface.SOLUTION: A two-pack type polyurethane coating composition is obtained by mixing a main agent component (I) containing a hydroxy group-containing resin (A) and a rust preventive pigment composition (B), with a curing agent component (II) containing a polyisocyanate compound (C). The rust preventive pigment composition (B) contains both silica (b1) and a phosphoric acid-based metal salt (b2) as a part of the component. The phosphate-based metal salt (b2) is a salt of at least one acid of phosphoric acid, phosphorous acid and a tripolyphosphoric acid containing at least magnesium such as a metal.
