PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic member capable of compatibly achieving improvement in slidability of a surface-layer face and toner releasability.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic member R used for electrophotographic devices has a surface layer 1. The surface layer 1 includes fluorine-containing hyperbranched polymer 12 containing a fluorine atom in a matrix polymer 11. It is preferable that the fluorine-containing hyperbranched polymer 12 includes a polymerization unit based on a fluorine-containing monomer containing the fluorine atom as a polymerization component. Further, it is preferable that the fluorine-containing monomer has a fluorine-containing group such as a fluoroalkyl group in the molecule. The electrophotographic member R can be defined as a developing member and a charging member to be included in an electrophotographic type image forming apparatus. The electrophotographic member can be defines as a transfer member to be included in the electrophotographic type image forming apparatus.
