PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of having a simple and light-weighted cover.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes an exposure unit (an LED unit 40) and a cover (a top cover 11) that can be swung between an open position that opens the opening of a main body frame and a closed position that closes the opening. The exposure unit is supported by the cover so as to be able to swing between an exposure position capable of exposing a photoreceptor and a retreat position that is folded to the cover side compared to the exposure position. The image formation device includes an energization member (a pull spring 500) that energizes the exposure unit from the exposure position to the retreat position and an interlock mechanism 400 that makes the exposure unit swing from the retreat position to the exposure position against the energization force of the energization member interlocking with the rotation of the cover when the cover is closed and allows the exposure unit to swing from the exposure position to the retreat position by the energization force of the energization member interlocking with the rotation of the cover when the cover is opened. |
