PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a case body connecting method capable of preventing leakage of fluid by interposing packing between case bodies, preventing damaging of the packing and also preventing the packing from slipping out of a fixing groove when connecting the case bodies and after connecting the case bodies, and preventing fluid leakage from a fluid pipe.SOLUTION: A movement preventive part 5 is arranged in at least one of case bodies 11 and 12 for preventing approach of mutual opposed surfaces 14a and 15a of connecting flanges 14 and 15 when dislocating positions of the mutual opposed surfaces 14a and 15a of the adjacent connecting flanges 14 and 15 in the pipe axis direction, the mutual opposed surfaces 14a and 15a of the adjacent connecting flanges 14 and 15 are positioned in the pipe axis direction up to releasing the approach prevention by the movement preventive part 5, the packing 4 between the opposed surfaces 14a and 15a of the connecting flanges 14 and 15 is brought into pressure contact by approaching the mutual opposed surfaces 14a and 15a of the connecting flanges 14 and 15, and the plurality of case bodies 11 and 12 are connected by sandwiching the mutual connecting flanges 14 and 15 by a holding member 6. |
