PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane separation facility wherein washing effect of membrane faces is improved by stably and smoothly forming circulation flows.SOLUTION: A membrane separation facility includes a plurality of air diffusion devices 14a-14d each generating a circulation flow 4 inside a treatment tank 2 below a plurality of membrane elements 8. An inter-membrane element conduit through which the circulation flow 4 flows is formed between the membrane elements 8, and substantially all the circulation flows 4 flow through the inter-membrane element conduits in the horizontal section of the treatment tank 2 in a portion disposed with the membrane elements 8. A part of the inter-membrane element conduits form upward flow conduits through each of which an upward flow 21 of the circulation flow 4 flows, and the residual inter-membrane element conduits form downward flow conduits through each of which a downward flow 20 of the circulation flow 4 flows. |
