PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a manufacturing cost of a metallic tone molding film using a flexible plastic film is very high, and to provide an efficient method of manufacturing a metallic tone molding film at low manufacturing cost while maintaining a function of metallic gloss or the like without using the flexible plastic film.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a metallic tone transfer film, a metallic tone transfer film, which is formed by sequentially laminating at least a function layer, a metal thin film layer, an adhesive layer on a peelable plastic film excellent in heat resistance, solvent resistance, and handleability, and a base material are adhered tightly so as to be in contact with each other. Then, the peelable plastic film is peeled, and the function layer and the metal thin film layer or the like of the metallic tone transfer film are transferred on the base material. |
