PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make reservations for video recording of a TV program efficiently.SOLUTION: Information on TV program video recording reservation is transmitted from a terminal device to a server device. By this, the terminal device notifies the server device of the fact that it has reserved video recording of a TV program, and the server device grasps the fact that video recording of a TV program has been reserved by the terminal device. The terminal device does not actually record the TV program for which video recording was reserved. When it wants to reproduce (view), the terminal device transmits TV program selection information to the server device. The server device transmits TV program content information indicated by the TV program selection information to the terminal device. The terminal device receives the TV program content information from the server device.
