PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PHV vehicle capable of heating cooling water or lubricating oil of an internal combustion engine installed on a plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHV) while a battery is being charged from an external power source during parking or stopping.SOLUTION: A plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHV) 1 includes: an internal combustion engine 2; a motor 3; a battery 6; and an external power source connection circuit 11 for connecting the battery 6 with an external power source 14. The internal combustion engine 2 includes a cooling water heating device 16 for heating cooling water and a lubricating oil heating device 17 for heating lubricating oil in an oil pan. While the battery 6 is being charged from the external power source 14 through the external power source connection circuit 11 with the PHV 1 being parked, both the heating devices 16, 17 are energized through both branch connection circuits 21, 23, so that cooling water and lubricating oil of the internal combustion engine 2 are heated. With such a configuration, cooling water and lubricating oil of the internal combustion engine 2 can be previously heated during parking of the PHV 1; therefore, the warming-up time of the internal combustion engine 2 is shortened, thereby achieving high fuel economy. |
