PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of improving operational reliability of an optical unit.SOLUTION: An optical unit includes: a shade; a motor 150 for displacing the shade by rotation of an output shaft 152; a case 170 having a wall section for forming a storage space 171 of the motor 150 and an opening for inserting the motor 150 into the storage space; a cover 190; and a base for fixing the case 170. The case 170 has a first wall section 172b opposite to a case mounting surface 114a of the base. The cover 190 has a first arm 190b extended at the outside of the first wall section 172b along the first wall section 172b while it is mounted on the case 170, and is combined with the case 170 by a snap fit state using elasticity of the first arm 190b. The first arm 190b is sandwiched between the first wall section 172b and the case mounting surface 114a while the case 170 is fixed on the base. |
