PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake duct in which an intake air sound can be reduced while suppressing a pressure loss.SOLUTION: An intake duct 5 includes a tubular duct body 1, and a sound insulation cover 2 which covers a distal end opening part 10 at an air intake side. The duct body includes a general portion 11, and a diameter-enlarged portion 12 which is formed outside of the general portion in an axial direction, surrounds the distal end opening part and enlarges the diameter thereof outwardly in a radial direction toward the outside in the axial direction. The sound insulation cover 2 includes a passage forming wall 21 which is opposed to the diameter-enlarged portion while forming an intake air passage 3 having a prescribed clearance L with respect to the diameter-enlarged portion. An inner end portion 21a inside of the passage forming wall 21 in the axial direction is positioned inside of the general portion of the duct body in the radial direction, and an outer end portion 21b outside of the passage forming wall 21 in the axial direction is positioned outside of the general portion in the radial direction. The diameter is enlarged from the inner end portion 21a toward the outer end portion 21b. |
