PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine that enables high efficiency operation.SOLUTION: A steam chamber surrounding a turbine rotating shaft is partitioned into a main steam chamber part, and sub steam chamber parts to which steam is supplied together with the main steam chamber part after the steam is supplied to the main steam chamber part. A main steam pipe is connected to the main steam chamber part, and a main adjusting valve is disposed in the main steam pipe. A sub steam pipe is connected to the sub steam chamber part, and a sub adjusting valve is disposed in the sub steam pipe. The sub steam pipe is disposed to be branched from the main steam pipe at a portion located downstream of the main adjusting valve in the main steam pipe. |
